Our organization, a member of a European program AGROSMARTglobal, had to organize a trade mission for European agri-food companies in the United States. We were looking for a company, or a specialist in the US food and beverage market. We chose IBDC because of their expertise and the ability to speak several languages. We had to build a program for a short trade mission over three days in the US for French, Portuguese, Spanish wine companies.

IBDC helped us build a program with different options which gave the companies the opportunity to visit a US Trade Fair connected to the wine sector – VINEXPO AND DRINKS AMERICA New York. IBDC organized a store check at wine and beverage stores and met with the participants to share market insights, recommendations and up-to-date data on the US wine and beverage market. The turnaround was very positive and satisfactory. Some companies plan to have a booth at Vinexpo next year.
